Today, I’m going to give you five different emails that you MUST HAVE in your email nurture sequence as a Fitness Professional.

What is an email Nurture Sequence?

 

An email nurture sequence is a series of automated emails sent to prospects or customers over time.

 

These emails are designed to build relationships and increase engagement.

They often contain helpful content and suggestions related to the product or service you offer

A nurture sequence aims to move potential clients through the sales funnel from awareness to conversion.

Lots of coaches I speak to don’t do email, and even when they do, they don’t have a solid email nurture sequence.

That’s until you’ve read this newsletter ;-)

What I am to do over the next few minutes is to give you a framework so you can start to write out a Sequence of your own.

Before you start thinking about a Nurture sequence, you need to make sure you have a solid Lead Magnet in Place.

The Five Emails You Need to Have Are.

  • The Welcome Email

  • The Extra Value Email

  • The Backstory

  • The Success Story

  • The Opportunity

 

#1 - The Welcome Email

The Welcome email can be a super powerful email to send.

It usually has the highest open rate of all the emails in the sequence, which is why it’s a great idea to offer something in the “p.s” section of the email.

Here is a simple framework to copy and paste for your welcome email…


 

Subject Line [Free Gift Inside Waiting Just For You]

Thank you for downloading [Name of Lead Magnet]!

I want to ensure you get the most from your download and look forward to helping you along your journey.

To get started, here are a few tips to help you get the most from your [Lead Magnet]:

  • Understand the purpose of the Lead Magnet and how it can help you.
  • Take the time to go through the Lead Magnet and implement the tips and advice.
  • Reach out to me if you have any questions or need help.

#2 - The Extra Value Email

The Extra Value Email is great to send 1-2 days after the welcome email. Make sure you put a little hint in the welcome email that something is coming and make sure what you deliver in this email is just as good as your Lead Magnet (I recommend a short video, workout, recipe etc.)

Here is a simple framework for you to copy and paste for your welcome email…

And thanks for letting me into your inbox this week!

#3 - The Backstory

When writing good emails, especially ones that tell a good story it’s important to create a framework for writing it.

One of the best frameworks I’ve found for writing a solid email for your backstory is the “Before-After-Bridge” Framework

Copy and paste this simple framework to write your backstory email


 

Subject Line [My Story: From Struggling to Succeeding]

Hey [firstname],

I wanted to take a moment to tell you a personal story about how I overcame my own struggles in [insert problem]

Before I discovered how to [insert solution], I was struggling with [insert problem]. I was frustrated and felt like I was spinning my wheels and not getting anywhere. I felt overwhelmed and like I was trying to do too much, too soon.

But after I discovered [insert solution], everything changed. I was able to focus my energy and make progress. I was able to take action and start seeing results.

The bridge between my struggles and success was a combination of understanding [insert solution] and applying it to my own life.

And now I'm so excited to share what I've learned with you.

I can't wait to hear your story and how you take action on what you learn.

#4 - The Success Story

This email is an opportunity to showcase your work and help the subscriber overcome some of their issues regarding success.

For most people, when it comes to problems, it’s usually down to a lack of time or not thinking that success is possible for them because of (age, obstacles, knowledge etc)

Once again, with this email, the “Before-After-Bridge” Copywriting Framework is a fantastic tool to use...


 

Subject Line: [How “client name” lost "x"lbs with this one simple change]

Hey [firstname],

I wanted to take a moment to tell you a success story about one of my clients.

Before they discovered [insert solution], they struggled with [insert problem]. They felt overwhelmed and like they were trying to do too much too soon. They weren't sure what the right steps were to take or how to make progress.

But after they discovered [insert solution], everything changed. They were able to focus their energy and make progress. They were able to take action and start seeing results.

#5 - The Opportunity

This email gets into the nitty gritty of what you want to offer your subscriber.

If you have evergreen digital products or programmes, a good thing to do here is a limited-time offer.

If you want more 1-1 or Group Coaching Clients, the main focus is to get them to book a call with you.

Here’s a simple template to work from...

Hey [firstname],

Thank you so much for being part of my community and taking the time to read my emails.

I hope you've enjoyed the [Name of Lead Magnet] and the [extra-value emails] I sent you.

I wanted to take a moment to tell you about a great opportunity I'm offering.

I'm currently offering a limited-time offer of free “fitness mapping sessions” for people who are serious about mapping out a plan of action to get in shape and feel great!

👉 The Success Story - Showcase your work to overcome their limiting beliefs.

👉 The Opportunity - Give them the opportunity to work with you.

 

The above emails are simple frameworks that should help you map out a solid email nurture sequence, and trust me when you have this in place, and you start to take people through each email, your client base will start to increase MASSIVELY.
